I was on my way home really early yesterday and passed by this horse farm just down the street. The conditions were just way too perfect not to turn around and shoot it. The perfect low early morning sunlight was being diffused by a nice light misty fog and the dew on the ground was heating up and providing another fog from the ground. It really was the perfect setting in my mind. Unfortunately the horses would not cooperate with me. They just never positioned themselves in any good positions to add to my compositions. They didn't move much at all actually. They spent a good amount of time clumped up around a hay bail feeding.
I was actually asked if I wanted to view one of the horses being re-shoed, but not being an animal person myself I kindly declined. I explained that the lighting was just too good to pass up and I had to stop.
