For the birds.

I noticed these geese feeding not far off the road on my way to Meghan's parents the other night in the Ocean Park area. Since my car was still loaded with gear I decided to turn around and try my luck. They actually got pretty close...almost too close. I was sure they would be timid and fly off at the sight/sound of me, but that never happened. I almost wish they would have so I could at least try for some in flight action shots.

I must admit I'm not the birding type. I guess it would be one thing if there was some sort of action involved, but shooting various birds walking around and eating just isn't my thing. To me it gets old which you may pick up on after viewing these pics. It's ok though. Experience is experience; shooting wise and post processing wise and I welcome the chance to gain in both departments. Hey, the one good side is that they won't get tired of posing anytime soon.
