Casco Bay Cyclocross 2011

I've covered quite a few bike races at this point but last Saturday was my first Cyclocross.  It was the annual Casco Bay Cyclocross.  If you are unaware of what a cyclocross is, allow me to explain.  A cyclocross bike is a cross between a road bike and a mountain bike and the racing is done on a mix of pavement and some light off roading which may also consist of obstacles throughout the course.  It's not a fast paced event but more of a skilled event.

It was fun to watch and shoot and I can't wait for next year.
