Urban Epic: Portland

I went and checked out the Urban Epic Challenge this morning to see what it was all about. It took place on the Eastern Promenade which is right on the water along the Narrow Gauge Railroad. It was a 4.5 mile run with 17 obstacles throughout the course. Needless to say I didn't trek the whole length with my gear. I did manage to catch some of the action though.

There was a group of girls with some inspirational signs that I definitely got a kick out of.
