Caitlyn had the day off from school yesterday due to the crazy storm and loss of power. I took the day off as well. I loaded the car up with some gear and we headed to Portland to drop Meghan off at work. We then decided to take the scenic route home and follow the coastline.
Our first stop was Bugg Light Park in South Portland. I didn't see much there as far as visual interest, so onward we went. Next stop was Spring Point Ledge Lighthouse. We got there just before high tide where the wind was howling and it was raining off and on. From there we went over to OOB to check out the waves and grab some calzones at the Strike Zone.
I tried some different things when it came time to process these. I played quite a bit with some of the skies to see what I could do.
It was nice to see some humans enter the frame for a sense of scale.
This was an experiment in post. If you happen to be a photo buff you can get some additional info here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/34613644@N08/4393258503/
