Varsity Ice Hockey Playoffs: TA vs. Marshwood

Thornton Academy met Marshwood last night in Lewiston at the Colisee for the Western Maine Class A Semifinals.  I wouldn't say that it was a great turnout.  Maybe this was due in part to Winter Carnival taking place at the same time, or maybe it was because these two teams met recently with TA coming away with an 8-1 victory.  At any rate, I hope the turnout on Tuesday is markedly better.

TA will face Falmouth on Tuesday night at the Colisee.  If you haven't followed the team very seriously you may not know that Falmouth has been the only team to give TA trouble the whole year through two meetings.  So, not only is this the final game before the State Championship, but it should be one heck of a match up.

Here are a bunch of images from last night.  It was nice to shoot in a different and larger arena for a change.  This allowed me to use a longer lens for a short period which allows for a different style of shooting and a change of pace.
