Varsity Football: TA vs. South Portland

I showed up at the game last Saturday like any other game....just in time for introductions since my seat is reserved on the field.  I got everything setup, took my readings, made my adjustments just in time for kickoff.  Then IT happened.  It was like an EMP attack had taken place and my electronics started to malfunction.  No matter what I did I just could not attain focus.  I tried every scenario I could come up with and just couldn't get anything to work the way that it should.

I figured I had two options.  I could go sit in the stands with my brother or I could keep on shooting and hope for something that I could work with.  I eventually found a setup that seemed to work *most* of the time though far from desirable and changed my strategy to best suit my needs at that time.

Needless to say I was a bit discouraged and didn't have much desire to even look at the images, let alone post any of them.  The thing is if I don't use them to learn from then I won't learn a thing. So, here are some of my images from a very off day:

Hopefully this was the cause of my troubles.  Lesson learned: keep your gear clean!
